We have seen many great battles so far in TTW2012 tournament. All sorts of civilization combinations have been tried because of the random + mirror rule, as well as the civilization draft rule.
However, there are always new things to try that we don't even think of, which is why the tournament staff are pleased to announce that you, the fans, will get to choose the settings for one of the games in the BO7 final stage.
Is there a certain civ combo you really want to see? Something that you think would give an interesting game but hasn't been tried yet? Or perhaps simply a method of choosing civilizations that allows the teams to come up with their own unique sets without allowing a resort to "Chinese + Persians + Mayans + Spanish/Mongols"? We want to hear from you! Please share your idea. Make it unique. Make it something we haven't seen before. Make it something we haven't thought of! Make it fun! Make it something YOU want to see the top players playing. And tell us WHY your idea is a good idea. "Chinese + Teutons + Byzantines + Aztecs" is an idea without a reason. We want more than that. We want something memorable.
So go ahead and give it your best shot. We have three weeks to approve ideas.
