Introduce Japan $3000 tournament

Postby  _Chocobo_ » Tue Apr 12, 2016 12:29 pm

Hello dear aoc community
We hosted Japan $3000 tournament and it finished
We want to introduce this news

introduction

Final Stage players and teams

The rule is not usual as other world tourneies, perhaps looks weird. The purpose of this rule is all level players can enjoy this tounament.

<rules>
・Admin makes teams to become fair by rate(Sum of member's rate are same=high rate players will team up with low rate players)
・All games are Arabia 4vs4
・Some help for low rate players (example. two low rate players in team can pick civs, two higher must be random civs)
・Sling restriction
and so on...

So the tournament level was not so high as voobly tournament or china tournament(This tournament Voobly 1500-2000 Level),but we could get some new players, and we could get really good tournament!

We streamed, and we got over 150views in japan(Don't compare with chinazone 11)
This is stream of Final

I want to introduce one of touney rec(rec is bottom of page)
This game is the best game of the tournament I think. Its semi-final.You should focus rakou1986(p7 mongols). His JapanGameZone rate is 500,It means voobly 1400-1500+,even 1300+(Japanrate 4000=voobly 1800+).He picked mongols. He was behind in early gametime, and his team was behind too,but he managed to rebuild eco. Thanks to help of resourse and advice,he finally got over 100 mangudais. It was the time lowest rate player to strike back.Could he become a hero of game?
(pietan a.k.a [PoJ]tokiwamiao polpo a.k.a [Any]polpol [JPN48]Hyogo and may play in voobly too.)

The tounament had many interesting recs too.

Japan Aoc community is getting small, but we have still independent aoc game zone(Most of them dont play on voobly)
It's news from Japan game zone.I hope Aoc lives long!

Wow, very cool! Seems like it was an awesome tournament :) The format seems pretty fun and friendly, which is great, although I wonder how well that works when there's money involved...

This is a really amazing tournament, I loved it. However, I don't think this type of tournament can work properly in AocZone/Voobly. This type of tourney is best suited for tightly knit small communities as that can allow for many compromises and late improvises. Rules of tournament over here are written in stone, and also voobly players are spread over much more wide time zones.

Tournament such as this is what Noobs and averages dream about, it is perfect for them. They get to feature in a high money tournament and if they don't have a clan, one is provided to them with one High rated player. I would love to have one like this over here but whoever tries to implement this type of tournament with considerable number of players over in voobly, I respect your courage and good luck because you're really going to need it.
I have always been the aggressive player , the mega push , the deadly rush , the kamikaze , the raid master , the map controller- ArgoNaut_Jidba
