39th RTS League Grand Finals Set Up - TheJedi|Z vs. VN!

Postby  Black Adder » Fri Feb 24, 2017 4:48 pm

After some winter chills and due to that slower scheduling we're in for the very last fight of RTS League's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Clan League, Season 39, looking to decide who can boast the prestigious Golden Banner for the best clan in the community!

This time we'll for sure have a new Champion on our hands, as both clans hadn't had the honour yet, with The Jedi Masters Z being in the Finals for the very first time (well they're a new team^^, though their clan is participating for a long time already :)), but Vikingos Nómadas, being the old clan they are, are coming in already for the second chance on Title in their history - in Season 31, they finished Silver behind the then-invincible Revenge Of Knight.

Could this be signalling a switch in the momentum of established clans? Both Finalists were always considered quite capable, but only this season have they been able to up their game even more and come the whole way! The Jedi Masters Z have scalps such as CZ Clan, Real Chilean League or LeO under their belts, tying in the division with Run Forrest Run, while Vikingos Nómadas boast convincing wins against New Chapter and Berserkers, and also the enigmatic LeO (they seem to be the benchmark for future Champions)!

You can find all the recorded games in our rec archive and streams on our Twitch and YT

The Grand Finals will see a battle between clans with players such as

The Jedi Masters Z

under the settings of Best of 5 with two home maps and two pre-set maps - Double Migration and Two Rivers - finished with Blind Random if necessary. Quite obviously we're in for a lot of top quality teamgame fun, so make sure to watch the live stream on

Saturday 25/2 at 21:00 GMT/22:00 CET/16:00 EST/13:00 PST/8:00 AEDT on with Black Adder and Genette

to not miss a single second from the closing match of AoC Season 39!

In the meantime, you can check the previous matches not only on the Twitch, but also on our YouTube, and when you're at it, you might find interesting our Facebook and Twitter for further content and stream alerts as well :)

And just as a teaser, Season 40 will be starting rather shortly, as we want to finish safely before summer to avoid any potential time conflicts from all the holidays ;)

Gl&hf clans, and may the skill be with you!

About us:
RTS League is the foremost and longest running "Age of" clan competition ever, with a history of hosting numerous other strategy games (like StarCraft II, Empire Earth, and Dawn of War) in the past. Fun and friendliness are the prominent aspects of RTS League, with the unquestionable prestige and fame the triumph brings to the top finishing clans following close behind.
