Okay, so that I can now see the full changelist:

1. Conq changes just make the unit really weak and affects spanish badly (notably -1 pierce armor). The conquistador only needs a very small nerf.
2. Aztec changes are ok, though the +5 food -5 gold isn't necessary.
3. Mayan wall bonus change is good, but not really enough to balance this civ.
4. Eagle changes make the upgraded castle age EW really too powerful (much cheaper to upgrade than aofe 2.2, also faster to move).
5. Berserk changes make them really too strong vs paladins, which is interesting by the way.

To add, there are many changes that are ok/fine. And I'm not really commenting on the AOFE civs... though I dont feel Magyars needed a nerf at all.

About the graphics, the new monks are cool, but the new Janissary looks like a gnome with that hat.

New building sets are also amazing. Congrats for the designers!

I just hope they edit the balance. There were lot of changes I disliked in the previous version

Given the timeframe of AoE2, it's a historical anachronism to be sure, but here you go. One of the ES employees was a huge fan of the Polish Winged Hussars, so I guess they decided to put them in the game with wings instead of the non-winged ones that existed during the game's timeframe.

If you want a more accurate representation of a Huszar during the Middle Ages, then have a look at the AoF Magyar Huszar graphic (the lancer that Richard made, not the Rohirrim swordsman from BoME that was used in the early stages of FE).

Are the six new custom AIs from version 2.2 still in there (http://www.forgottenempires.net/features/ai) or are those two AIs by Eel the only ones now?
If they're still there: Have they been updated already / are there plans for that?

I think it has the latest userpatch so, wouldn't be a stretch to think they'll work. It says Barbarian 2.0 and Crusade 4.42 in my data files, if that's of any help. I'm also using the latest Bruteforce and Boss AIs, they work fine.
