Trush Build for Inca

Postby  TOAO_Osborn » Sun Dec 29, 2013 1:43 am

Who has the best build order for this obvious high octane trush civ?

Trush build orders are pretty similar for all civs. The goal is to get up as fast a possible and surprise the enemy. 20 pop ups are possible with a non mongol civ, however without a good eco bonus it can be very hard. 21 pop should be what you shoot for with Incas, so I would suggest:
1-6 sheep
7-9 wood
10-11 boar (10 lure)
12-15 berries
17-20 boar (17 lure)
Click up, with 3 on wood, 4 on berries, 12 on sheep/boar

Transfer 4 of 12 to stone
Send 5-9 forward
leave 10-12 on sheep

Obviously build orders depend on resource placement and distance. Also, you can add a fourth wood cutter if you want to add ranges later. Also, hunt deer with the 3 sheep vils if they are close.

I haven't't played Incas before, but I would think a forward with 2 towers and ranges would be better.

Why not do early smith+m@a to create a trush with super vils and m@a (as both would be affected by bs ups)

That way you can catch up on economy fast as you apply pressure with forward vils. Even spears with both ups can put on a bit of pressure.

I had been doing tower rushes with Teutonic knights because of garisson bonus and recently discovered this civ. Anyone else have any tips on how to play them well?

I just rush forward with 5 villagers at the start of feudal and do all blacksmith upgrades and mine upgrades.

Since houses provide more space, you can delay the villager working on wood. The reduced stone cost of buildings are very good, you can rely on having only 3 villagers working on stone.
