AoCSchedulingZone

Postby  andreskbr » Mon Nov 20, 2017 5:35 pm

I guess almost everyone browses this forum "view new posts" button. Well, many times the new posts are mostly scheduling topics of tournaments. Since Ra seems to be done playing AoC competitively, there are no longer epic scheduling wars to bring the audience some fun. Therefore, I suggest creating a new Website, exclusively done for scheduling purposes. People could still get relevant information checking the event calendar or going to AoCSchedulingZone. I have no idea about technical difficulties or financial costs to make this idea happen, but I suppose it should not be that hard.

this has been discussed thousand times before, the easiest way would be to open a new tab for the scheduling topics only, and keep everything else in the original new posts section, but yeah

This is nothing compared to opening aoczone and seeing that 3 pages out of 4 are 1v1s between 19+ or 2k chineses whose games always have 0 download and maybe 6 views..

I really like how pumukel organized it for NAoC4, there is a Hidden Subforum and only the participants of NAoC have access to that forum.

Maybe other organizers could do something similar as well, although I would ask for access so I can edit aoe2calendar earlier :D

As a workaround, you can use the AoCZone Cleaner script I posted here.
If you go for the "Cleaner Strict (+ Scheduling)" version, it will hide this topic too, though, since it contains the word "Scheduling" in its topic. ;)

Maybe someone can make a topic filter where you can check/uncheck what you want to see?
